Can you freeze Sermorelin?

Lyophilized (freeze-dried, unmixed) sermorelin can often be frozen for long-term storage, but once it is reconstituted with sterile water it should be refrigerated (not frozen) and used within the timeframe your pharmacy specifies. Freezing reconstituted sermorelin can degrade the peptide. Always follow the storage instructions provided with your specific prescription.

Before mixing vs. after mixing

Unreconstituted (powder) sermorelin is more stable and is sometimes stored frozen. Once you add bacteriostatic or sterile water, the peptide is in solution and becomes more fragile — it belongs in the refrigerator and should not be frozen.

Follow your pharmacy's directions

Storage windows for reconstituted peptides vary. Use the specific instructions from your compounding pharmacy or the GOAL.MD care team, and discard product that has been handled outside those instructions.
