Does TrumpRx work with insurance or Medicare?
No. TrumpRx.gov cash pricing is for cash-paying patients only. It generally cannot be combined with commercial insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid, and cash purchases usually do not count toward your insurance deductible or out-of-pocket maximum. If you have coverage, your insurance copay may actually be lower — check it first before paying cash.
Cash-pay only
The manufacturer cash prices shown on TrumpRx apply when you pay out of pocket. Patients are generally asked to attest they are not using a government program (Medicare or Medicaid) for the purchase, and cash spending typically does not accrue toward deductibles or annual out-of-pocket limits.
If you have insurance that covers a GLP-1, compare your plan's copay to the cash price — for many insured patients, the copay is lower. TrumpRx is most useful for uninsured patients or those whose plan doesn't cover the specific medication.
How GOAL.MD fits
GOAL.MD is a cash-pay practice and does not bill insurance. If coverage or a Medicare gap is your concern, GOAL.MD also offers a Medicare GLP-1 Bridge and physician-supervised programs so a coverage gap doesn't have to stop your care.
TrumpRx.gov is a U.S. government website and is not affiliated with GOAL.MD. Program pricing and rules are set by the manufacturers and government and can change without notice.
