Lose Weight Before the Holidays — Physician-Built Plan

The party is on the calendar. Build the plan around it — not around a January regret.

The typical holiday runway is 8–20 weeks. Here's what a physician-supervised plan can do:

What is realistic in the time you have

How do I stay on plan through Thanksgiving and Christmas?

Protein first, alcohol last, and don't skip GLP-1 doses because you're 'off plan.' The medication reduces food noise, which means holiday portions come down naturally without willpower. Most patients maintain or lose during the holiday months — they don't gain.

Should I stop GLP-1 medication during the holidays?

No. Stopping and restarting resets side effects and appetite. Keep your normal weekly dose, keep protein high, and enjoy the meals. Your physician will adjust the plan if needed.

Important

GOAL.MD serves patients in all 50 US states. Which medication your physician can prescribe still depends on your state's rules, your medical evaluation, and pharmacy eligibility.

Compounded medications are prepared by licensed U.S. 503A/503B pharmacies. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved.

GOAL.MD does not auto-bill compounded medication programs. Nothing reorders by itself and your card is only charged after you tell us to proceed. The Brand-Name GLP-1 Access program is the one exception: it is a $95/month physician-care membership that is billed automatically while you stay enrolled, and you can cancel any time before your next prescription or refill is authorized.
