Sentinel: immune signalling components and their evidence limits

Sentinel is a named combination of thymosin alpha-1, BPC-157, KPV, and LL-37. One component has clinical use in some countries outside the United States and the rest are largely preclinical. No study of the combination was identified.

Overview
Immune claims are among the easiest to make and hardest to support. This grouping contains one component with a real clinical history in specific settings outside the United States and three with limited or no human data. The page keeps those apart, because thymosin alpha-1's history is frequently used to lend credibility to substances that have none.
Why these are grouped
The rationale offered is coverage of several immune and inflammatory signalling pathways at once. Four pathways is a merchandising argument. Immune modulation is not inherently beneficial, and pushing several pathways simultaneously without data is a reason for caution rather than confidence.

The component with a genuine clinical research history, used in some countries in specific infectious and immune contexts. It is not FDA-approved for general immune support.
bpc-157
Studied in animal models of tissue and gut signalling, with no adequate human trial base.
kpv
A tripeptide fragment studied in preclinical models of inflammatory signalling, with minimal human data.
ll-37
A human antimicrobial peptide studied in innate immunity research. It has recognised pro-inflammatory activity as well as antimicrobial activity, which is a two-sided profile rather than a benefit.
