Ozempic®

Ozempic® — Semaglutide Pen — via TrumpRx.

Ozempic® (semaglutide) is an FDA-approved GLP-1 receptor agonist originally developed for type 2 diabetes. It works by mimicking a hormone that regulates blood sugar and appetite. Many patients experience significant weight loss as a secondary benefit. When prescribed for weight loss specifically, your provider will ensure it's appropriate for your health profile.

What this program offers

What is included

What is Ozempic®?

Ozempic® is a brand-name prescription medication containing semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist. It's FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes management and helps regulate blood sugar while often resulting in weight loss.

How is Ozempic® different from compounded semaglutide?

Ozempic® is the FDA-approved brand-name medication manufactured by Novo Nordisk. Compounded semaglutide is a personalized formulation prepared by licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies when your physician determines a customized formulation or dosage best meets your clinical needs. They are separate products — compounded medications are not alternatives, generics, or equivalents to brand-name medications.

Does GOAL.MD accept insurance?

No. GOAL.MD is a cash-pay practice. We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), FSA/HSA cards, and offer financing through Affirm, Afterpay, and Klarna. If you need to use insurance, you'll need to work with an insurance-based provider.

How do I take Ozempic®?

Ozempic® is administered once weekly via subcutaneous injection. Your provider will guide you through proper injection technique and dosing schedule.

What are the common side effects?

Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and constipation. These typically improve over time as your body adjusts to the medication.

Am I eligible for Ozempic®?

Eligibility depends on your medical history, current health status, and treatment goals. Our providers will evaluate your profile during the consultation to determine if Ozempic® is right for you.

Estimated combined monthly cost

Medication at the manufacturer's self-pay price plus the existing GOAL.MD $95/month physician-care fee.

Estimated combined cost, not a single charge: the medication is purchased from the manufacturer's own pharmacy program and the $95/month physician-care fee is billed separately by GOAL.MD.

Medication prices are set by the manufacturer program and can change; the price you see at the pharmacy's checkout is the one that applies.

Prices shown are for a one-month supply at that dose. A different supply length, or a dose change during titration, changes the medication amount.

The GOAL.MD $95/month Brand-Name GLP-1 Access fee is billed automatically each month while you stay enrolled. You can cancel any time before your next prescription or refill is authorized.

Eligibility is decided by your physician and by the manufacturer program; a price here is not an offer or a guarantee that you will qualify.

The combined figure is illustrative, not an all-in monthly total: injection supplies where the manufacturer requires them, and any manufacturer supply period that is not a calendar month, are not included in it.

Novo Nordisk defines a month as 1 box of 4 Wegovy® pens, or 1 bottle of 30 Wegovy® tablets.

Prices read from novocare.com on 15 September 2026; Novo Nordisk can modify or cancel the program at any time, and eligibility and restrictions apply.

The $199 price covers the first 2 fills of 0.25 mg or 0.5 mg for eligible patients and runs through 31 December 2026. After those 2 fills the ongoing price applies — $349 for 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg and 1 mg, or $499 for 2 mg — so $294/month is an introductory figure, not a permanent one.

Ozempic® prices read from the NovoCare® Ozempic offer page on 15 September 2026. Older Novo Nordisk material may show an earlier end date; the current offer page is the one that applies.

Ozempic® compared with a personalized compounded program

Compounded preparations are not alternatives, generics or equivalents to any brand-name medication, and this comparison does not say one option works better than the other. Which option is appropriate is a decision for your physician.

How treatment actually works, step by step

Does GOAL.MD bill insurance for this?

No. GOAL.MD is a cash-pay practice. We accept credit cards, FSA/HSA cards, and financing through Affirm, Afterpay and Klarna. The manufacturer pharmacy accepts credit cards and FSA/HSA cards for eligible transactions.

What exactly does the $95 a month pay for, and what does it not pay for?

It pays for GOAL.MD physician care: evaluation, the prescription, titration decisions, side-effect support, refill management and unlimited Certified Nutrition Coach support. It does not pay for the medication, which you buy from the manufacturer's pharmacy program at its own price.

What happens when my dose goes up?

Your physician decides each titration step. The manufacturer's self-pay price can differ between doses, so your medication cost can change at a dose change while the $95 physician-care fee stays the same.

Can I cancel?

Yes. You can cancel the $95/month Brand-Name GLP-1 Access membership any time before your next prescription or refill is authorized. Once a refill has been authorized, that cycle proceeds and the cancellation applies to the next one.

What if my dose is out of stock?

Stock and dose availability are set by the manufacturer and change month to month. Your physician can hold your titration, change format where one exists, or discuss another clinically appropriate option.

My shipment is late or arrived warm — who do I contact?

Contact GOAL.MD support at customer@jellyfish.md with your order details and we will escalate with the pharmacy on your behalf. We do not guarantee a delivery date and we will not tell you a medication is still usable — if the condition of a shipment is in doubt, do not use it until your physician or the pharmacy has reviewed it. If delivery instructions you have received conflict, treat the prescribing information supplied with the medication as authoritative and ask us to confirm in writing.

How should I store it?

Storage requirements are set out in the manufacturer's prescribing information supplied with your medication — follow that document and the pharmacy's instructions, and ask your physician if your shipment arrives in a condition you are unsure about.

How do I reorder or get my next refill?

Your physician authorizes the next prescription or refill as part of your $95/month membership, and the manufacturer's pharmacy (LillyDirect® or NovoCare®) contacts you to confirm and take payment for that fill. If you are close to running out and have not heard from the pharmacy, email customer@jellyfish.md and we will chase it. Refill timing can affect the manufacturer's price at some doses, so check the price shown at the pharmacy's checkout.

What if I want to stop treatment?

Talk to your physician first — stopping is a clinical decision, not just a billing one. Your physician can advise on stepping down or stopping your dose, what to expect afterwards, and how to keep your nutrition and activity plan going. Stopping treatment and cancelling the $95/month membership are two separate things: tell us both if you want both, otherwise the membership continues.
